Description
Assignment:
- Full-time 1.0 FTE temporary replacement teaching position.
- Instructing in an Elementary French Immersion classroom
- Tuesday, Thursday and alternating Friday's
- Duties to commence January 19, 2026 and will continue until February 13, 2026, with the possibility of extension
Qualifications:
- Experience teaching in an Elementary classroom would be considered an asset
- Candidates MUST demonstrate strong proficiency in French, and the ability to deliver instruction in a primary French Immersion environment
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work in a team-oriented learning environment and positive team member
- Assessment literate
- Ability to use varied instructional strategies to meet a wide range of individual needs
- Effective classroom management
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth
