Description
Assignment:
- Grounds/Maintenance Summer students, three (3) positions available
- Duties to commence May 1, 2026 and continue until August 30, 2026
- Monday - Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (start times may vary)
- Duties to include: Operating push mowers, riding mowers, string trimmers, edging sidewalks and pathways, cleaning up grass clippings and debris, assisting with general grounds and landscaping tasks.
Applicant Requirements:
- Require a valid class 5 drivers license and steel toe boots
- Be at least 16 years of age
- Ability to preform physical outdoor
- Reliable and able to work independently in addition to working within the facilities team
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions
- Reside and/or attend school in Alberta, with an Alberta mailing address
- Current Criminal Record Check, within six (6) months
- Ability to follow safety procedures and use required PPE.
- Returning to high school or a post-secondary institution no later than November 1, 2026
- Available for full-time summer employment
- Not currently employed for Wolf Creek Public Schools
