Description
Assignment:
- Part-time 0.83 FTE temporary replacement teaching position
- Course load to include junior high:
- Language Arts
- Social Studies
- Potential to increase to a full-time temporary position
- Duties to commence August 27, 2025 and will continue until June 30, 2026
Qualifications:
- Experience teaching in courses as mentioned above would be considered an asset
- Strong background and experience in Literacy and Numeracy
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Experience teaching in junior high would be considered an asset
- Willingness to work in a team-oriented learning environment
- Assessment literate
- Ability to use varied instructional strategies to meet a wide range of individual needs
- Strong technology and 21st Century Learning Skills
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Effective classroom management skills
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth
