Description
Assignment:
- Full-time 1.0 FTE temporary replacement teaching position
- Courseload to include:
- Grades 7-9 English
- Grades 7-9 Social Studies
- Grades 7-9 General
- Duties to commence August 27, 2025 and will continue until June 30, 2026
Qualifications:
- Experience teaching English and Social Studies at the Junior High level
- Experience providing effective reading interventions
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Experience mentoring youth and supporting positive decision making
- Willingness to work in a team-oriented learning environment
- Assessment literate
- Experience mentoring youth and supporting positive decision making.
- Ability to utilize varied instructional strategies to meet a wide range of individual needs
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth
- Strong technology and 21st Century Learning Skills
