Description
Assignment:
- Full-time 1.0 FTE probationary teaching position
- Mathematics and Chemistry grades 10 - 12
- Duties to commence August 27, 2025 and will continue for the remainder of the 2025/2026 school year
Qualifications:
- Proven experience teaching every grade level and course in the senior high Math curriculum, as well as senior high sciences including Chemistry and some Physics.
- Previous experience working in an Outreach setting would be considered an asset
- Experience working with multiple subjects and grade levels would be considered an asset
- Experience with multiple technologies for hybrid learning opportunities
- This position requires experience with differentiating and individualizing student programming within a flexible environment
- Strong interpersonal skills are essential
- Ability to work independently is essential
- Effective classroom management
- Able to work as a part of a strong collaborative team
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth
