Description

Located in Saint-Hubert, on the south shore of Montreal, Tekdata Metal Solutions is a company that designs and manufactures products from sheet metal.

We are looking for a welder-fitter who masters Tig welding for stainless and aluminum products.

Main tasks:
- Read and interpret the plans;
- Proceed with the assembly of components for the manufacture of products;
- Weld according to SMAW, FCAW, and GTAW processes;
- Maintain the work area clean and safe;

Competitive salary according to experience and qualifications.
40 hours/week. It ends at 1 p.m. on Friday.
Possibility of overtime.
Gym on site

Requested skills

MAIN TASKS :

Read and interpret blueprints
Assemble components for product manufacturing
Weld, according to SMAW, FCAW, and GTAW processes
Maintain clean and safe workspaces
Be able to weld TIG (90%) / MIG (10%) for stainless and aluminum products

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Know the measuring instruments such as the vernier
Know the metric AND imperial measurements
Demonstrate precision and thoroughness
Have passed an in-house welding test
