What You’ll Be Doing:
- Collaborate with validation engineers to execute 224Gbps SERDES system-level regression tests in the lab environment.
- Manage and organize data collected from regression stations, ensuring all results are accurately cataloged.
- Build and maintain a comprehensive database to track and catalog test results for ongoing analysis.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends and correlations that can inform performance improvements.
- Run sensitivity tests to optimize Bit Error Rate (BER) and Forward Error Correction (FEC) performance.
- Support validation of software and firmware releases to ensure high standards of quality control.
- Gain hands-on lab experience with state-of-the-art SerDes technology, learning from seasoned industry professionals.
What You’ll Need:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, in the penultimate year of study.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen interest in data analysis and system validation.
- Familiarity with database management and data visualization tools.
- Python and MATLAB are strong assets.
- Knowledge of machine learning is an asset.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Enthusiasm for learning about cutting-edge SerDes and lab validation practices.
