Synopsys is the leader in engineering solutions from silicon to systems, enabling customers to rapidly innovate AI-powered products. We deliver industry-leading silicon design, IP, simulation and analysis solutions, and design services. We partner closely with our customers across a wide range of industries to maximize their R&D capability and productivity, powering innovation today that ignites the ingenuity of tomorrow.

You Are

You see the big picture and know exactly which levers to pull to make things run smoother across teams. You have spent years orchestrating complex engineering programs where the technical and the operational meet, and you are most energized when you are connecting dots between technical leads, business goals, and process improvements. You do not just keep projects on track-you redesign the track if it is slowing the team down. You are comfortable explaining the business case for a new AI workflow to a VP one moment, and then diving into the details with engineers to remove blockers the next. You know how to translate leadership vision into actionable roadmaps, and you build trust by always backing up your recommendations with data and clear reasoning. You thrive in environments where ambiguity is the norm, and you see every cross-functional challenge as a chance to drive meaningful change. At Synopsys, you will not just manage projects-you will shape how our Interface IP teams operate, communicate, and deliver at scale.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Partnering with Interface IP senior leadership to co-create and execute strategic business plans that directly impact Synopsys’s growth trajectory
  • Overseeing and coordinating high-stakes quotes and programs, ensuring engineering, operations, and business teams are in sync and moving toward shared goals
  • Leading operational efficiency initiatives with a focus on deploying and scaling AI tools and flows across the IP Group, pinpointing bottlenecks and driving measurable improvements
  • Designing, implementing, and refining performance management processes that keep teams accountable, transparent, and continuously improving
  • Building and sustaining communication channels that keep the entire engineering community engaged and in the loop on technology updates and unified design flows
  • Acting as the connective tissue across business units for customer engagement and messaging, making sure the story is clear and consistent from pitch to delivery

The Impact You Will Have
  • Drive faster and more reliable delivery of Interface IP projects by clearing operational roadblocks and aligning cross-functional teams
  • Increase adoption of new AI tools and flows, raising the bar for automation, productivity, and quality across the group
  • Elevate the visibility and effectiveness of performance management, helping teams and leaders focus on what moves the needle
  • Build a stronger, more informed engineering community by making sure everyone gets the right information at the right time
  • Improve customer engagement outcomes by ensuring our messaging is aligned and our delivery meets (or exceeds) expectations
  • Influence strategic decisions at the leadership level with data-backed insights and operational clarity

What You'll Need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, business, or a related field (analog or digital hardware design experience is a plus)
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in operational strategy and execution in engineering or technical environments
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale, cross-functional initiatives and deliver results in complex organizational settings
  • Proven project management skills with a track record of successful program delivery
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including crafting executive presentations and engaging diverse stakeholders
  • Strong analytical mindset, comfortable using data to drive decisions and improvements

Who You Are
  • You translate complex strategy into clear, actionable plans and do not hesitate to adjust course when the data demands it
  • You ask tough questions, challenge assumptions, and hold yourself and others to a high bar of accountability
  • You move fluidly between technical detail and business context, making sure nothing gets lost in translation
  • You build trust with your teams by being transparent, ethical, and consistent in your actions
  • You see every operational hiccup as a chance to learn and improve, not just something to fix and forget

The Team You'll Be Part Of

You’ll join the Synopsys Canada Interface IP design team, partnering directly with senior leaders across IPG and adjacent organizations within Synopsys globally. Our team is dedicated to driving strategic initiatives, operational excellence, and transformative innovation.
