Description
Summary of Duties:
Responsible for assisting with garden related tasks during the spring, summer and fall seasons as required. Maintaining the gardens on a daily basis which includes watering, weeding, pruning, moving of soil, cleaning of pathways, etc. Some lifting and digging required. Assisting with garden events hosted by Recreation as required.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Currently enrolled in post-secondary education
- Secondary school graduate
- Gardening experience required
- Experience with geriatric population preferred
- Experience with palliative care patients in an asset
- Ability to work independently essential
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with team members essential
