Hours:  7 hours per week over a 9-month period

Practice-based Research and Innovation & the Department of Psychiatry is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, and experienced individual to work in a fast-paced environment. The successful incumbent will work directly with the project team to lead the completion of an integration project between Sunnybrook, Greenspace and CANHealth.

The research coordinator will play a key role in supporting the implementation of measurement-based care integration project within Sunnybrook's Department of Psychiatry and related partner areas. Responsibilities will be focusing on data collection, administration of patient rating scales, and project coordination for the Greenspace initiative.  This position is essential for enabling the project team to meet, track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) achievement. This position will also lead team meetings, completion of reporting requirements (including presentations) as well as liaising with project partners.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Lead the implementation of measurement-based care integration project in psychiatry and identified project areas.
  • Lead data collection using patient symptom rating scales (e.g., PHQ-9, GAD-7, QIDS-SR).
  • Prepare, administer, and manage survey instruments and data.
  • Lead submissions and required project documentation.
  • Lead team meetings.
  • Report, measure and ensure achievement of KPIs.
  • Work collaboratively with project team members.

 

Required Qualifications / Skills:

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in health-related field or equivalent (an MSc degree is an asset).
  • At least 2+ years project lead and clinical experience in mental health setting.
  • Understanding of project management processes and methodology.
  • Sound knowledge and experience of the Greenspace platform for measurement based care.
  • Computer proficiency including advanced skills with MS Office applications is required.
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills are required.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills are required.
