Summary of Duties Responsible for care of patients within the department.  Collects records and verifies patient history and information.  Obtains informed consent when required Perform a variety of diagnostic procedures in the department, in accordance with applicable legislation, clinical standards and departmental procedures.  Complies with safe radiation practices at all times.  This includes PET/CT scans and ECG monitoring for Stress Testing. Coordinate daily work schedule, prioritizes emergency/add-on cases as required Maintains adequate records and documentation according to departmental policy and procedures   Performs required care and maintenance of equipment as required. Assists radiology residents and fellows within the division as required Participates in the orientation of new staff and students as directed Performs Radiopharmacy and Quality Control Procedures in the department   Qualifications/Skills CMRTO Registration required CAMRT Registration preferred Recent related technologist experience required Related technologist experience in a Hospital environment preferred · Demonstrated ability to work well independently as well as in a team environment. Demonstrated initiative and comfort with decision making Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively as a team player Computer and keyboarding skills
