Physiotherapist - Holland Rehab Services Inpatient/Outpatient Unit - Reduced full-time 2024-7536

Summary of Duties: Evaluates, develops, implements and re-evaluates treatment programs for clients with musculoskeletal and related disorders in the hospital programs Assesses, plans, implements, monitors and evaluates interventions for transitional care clients (i.e. ALC population) Collaborates with the treatment team toward discharge planning Educates clients and their families, hospital staff and the community regarding musculoskeletal disorders and preventative healthcare Directs the daily activities of Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy Assistants, students/interns in the department, as required We Provide: Team oriented, progressive clinical environment Manageable client/staff ratio Acute Inpatient, Transitional Care, Short-Term Rehabilitation and Outpatient services Membership on the interdisciplinary team Clinical Research Planning evaluation of clinical and educational programs Clinical education for students and interns Continuing education and professional development   Qualifications/Skills: MScPT, BScPT or Alliance - approved equivalency required Must be Registered with Ontario College of Physiotherapists Membership with Canadian Physiotherapy Association is desirable Previous experience in the areas of musculoskeletal and geriatric rehabilitation
