Clinical Dietitian - D6 Surgical Oncology/Ross Tilley Burn Centre Temporary Full-Time - 2026-18832

Classification: 0.5 FTE D6, 0.5 FTE RTBC

Summary of Duties:

The successful candidate will provide nutrition care for critically and acutely ill patients in the Ross Tilley Burn Centre (RTBC) and inpatient General Surgery and Surgical Oncology patients on D6 in accordance with the Clinical Nutrition Standards of Practice as well as the person centred care model that Sunnybrook follows. The successful candidate will provide emergency cross coverage as needed. The successful candidate will participate in the advancement of patient care through professional, unit-based and organizational committees, quality initiatives, practice-based research and daily interprofessional rounds. The candidate will also participate in the training of dietetic students.

Qualifications/Skills:

• Member of the College of Dietitians of Ontario (CDO) required
• Experience in management of enteral and parenteral nutrition support required
• Minimum 1year experience in an ICU setting preferred
• Experience with oncology patients, surgical patients and patient education preferred
• Excellent communication and organization skills required
• Demonstrated initiative, teamwork and ability to effectively prioritize work required
• Demonstrated ability to advocate for patient needs required
• Demonstrated application of evidence-based practice required
