Summary of Duties The changing of food, water and bedding according to established facility schedules Daily health monitoring and general animal husbandry Washing of cages, racks and bottles.  Reception and preparation of incoming animals Cleaning machines, area floors, walls and equipment   Qualifications/Skills Graduate of or currently enrolled in a Veterinary Technician Program or Animal Care Program Ability to understand and problem solve issues Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team member Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills Must have an excellent attendance record
