What will you do?

  • Lead and develop a team of Case Managers in order to deliver high quality and timely service that reflects our commitment to partnership, problem solving and an exceptional advisor experience.
  • Drive a high performance culture by maintaining or exceeding our 98% monthly team accuracy result by coaching & managing employees and through work distribution.
  • Build strong relationships with our clients, advisors, distribution partners which are important to maintain our business. It is our goal to be the partner of choice and ensure we are “easy to do business with”
  • Taking ownership to resolve clients and advisors issues to build trust and confidence with an appropriate sense of urgency by handling escalations with an owner’s mindset.
  • Help team members assess their career objectives and support developmental needs in achieving those goals
  • Lead or partner in projects or initiatives that support our department goals

What do you need to succeed?

  • Bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required for the frequent interactions with English and French-speaking colleagues or internal partners across Canada and worldwide
  • Strong leadership and relationship-building skills
  • Strong organizational skills to manage workflow daily and to optimize the abilities of the team in meeting service commitments for quality and speed
  • Ability to react to change positively and support change effectively.
  • Collaborative spirit in working with reporting employees and peers to find innovative solutions
  • Ability to assess team members' strengths and developmental needs and deliver motivating feedback to inspire growth and development


Assets

  • Previous leadership / supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of CSW and associated processes
  • Understanding of New Business functions

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance. Certain sales focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.
