Job Description:

**This is a 14 month temporary position**

As the Digital Marketing Consultant (Bilingual), you will drive growth performance and business goals across the advisor marketing practice. This role is suited for you, if you’re a strategic thinker, detail-oriented, analytics driven, and passionate about the digital adoption of marketing technology amongst our advisors. You will be responsible for managing the advisor content platform, leading reporting and ongoing optimizations, and working with internal partners to assess its impact within our digital ecosystem of cross-channel advisor marketing.

You will contribute to the growth of the advisor digital presence and achieve business goals by driving the adoption and usage of innovative marketing technologies. You will be responsible for implementing industry best practices and continuously enhancing the way that Clients and prospects are engaging with advisors digitally.

You will contribute to operational excellence by managing essential administrative functions pertaining to the role, and will help create exceptional experiences for our advisors, playing a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day processes.

The Digital Growth Performance Consultant reports to the Director, Digital Marketing Services within the Advisor Sales and Marketing Support team in Retail Advice & Solutions. The Advisor Sales and Marketing Support team provides best in class marketing support to advisors to help Clients achieve lifetime financial security and live healthier lives.

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage the advisor content platform and its ongoing improvement to drive business outcomes

  • Grow adoption of digital marketing platforms and tools to evolve the advisor experience

  • Elevate effectiveness of the tools & content in the platforms to drive business outcomes

  • Build relationships with advisors and business partners; gather feedback to refine and improve

  • Partner with our Digital Enterprise team to improve the platforms

  • Be the expert in communication, training, and coaching for advisors specific to marketing platforms

  • Champion innovation, pilot new functionalities, and stay atop of industry news

  • Lead, execute and report on business cases

  • Manage growth performance of in-platform content engagement to hit business goals.

  • Manage business and compliance risk

  • Lead administrative functions as required by the role

  • Bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required for the frequent interactions with English and French speaking clients across Canada and worldwide.

Requirements

  • University degree or equivalent business experience

  • Minimum 2-3 years in content marketing, website and social media management and growth performance

  • Proven track record of success leading, influencing and implementing digital technology and strategies

  • Financial Services industry experience is a strong asset

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance. Certain sales focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.
