The team you will be joining is a part of State Street Investment Services (SSIS). SSIS gives asset owners and managers access to the essential financial tools they need to deliver effective investment solutions. From core custody, accounting, fund administration and shareholder recordkeeping to complete operations solutions and servicing for alternative assets like OTC derivatives, private equity and real estate, SSGS’ tools help our clients make better investment choices and act on growth opportunities.

What you will be responsible for

As Head of Canada and Latin America, you will:

• Set State Street’s regional strategy and execute revenue growth plans with key stakeholders and regional teams
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain strong relationships with key regulators
• Lead and develop Sales, Relationship Management, and Client Service teams to deliver coordinated client coverage and revenue growth
• Build strategic client and prospect relationships, lead major deals, and leverage industry networks to win new business
• Partner with Product and GD/Operations/GTS to develop differentiated investment servicing solutions that combine State Street’s capabilities and thought leadership
• Build a client-centric, results-oriented culture that strengthens State Street’s market profile and brand

What we value

• Proven success growing profitable financial services businesses, revenue, and client wallet share across the Americas
• Deep institutional market knowledge of Canada and/or Latin America and the ability to build trusted C-suite client, prospect, and internal relationships
• Strong regulatory and risk judgment, with a commitment to transparent relationships, sound conduct, and effective controls
• Innovative, resilient change leadership with the agility to adapt, negotiate, and influence

Education & Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or other advanced degree preferred
• At least 20 years of experience selling to and servicing institutional clients, including closing complex, large-scale opportunities
• Strong commercial judgment, industry knowledge, and an established network of key contacts
• Deep understanding of complex investment servicing solutions
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills, with a commitment to One State Street
• Proven ability to operate globally across diverse cultures while respecting local market nuances
• Superior English fluency is essential. Proficiency in French. Spanish and/or Portuguese preferred
