St. Albert Public Schools is currently recruiting a Full Time, Probationary, Library Technician 2 (LIB2) for a work assignment at Bellerose Composite High School .

Hours of Work : 35.0 hrs. /week; 7.0 hrs./day; Monday-Friday; Full Time, Probationary
Hourly Rate: $25.41 per hour, as per the CUPE Collective Agreement
Specific Needs/Requirements for this position:
- Familiarity with automated cataloguing and classification systems is required
- Knowledge of library materials and resources is required
- Knowledge of library related software (e.g. Destiny) is required
- Excellent organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills with a strong service orientation are essential
- Experience in a high school library environment is an asset
- Ability to coordinate the circulation of school library resources efficiently while fostering a positive and supportive learning environment is required
- Management of promotional activities such as book fairs is required
- A minimum of two (2) years of related experience required
- Completion of post-secondary library technician diploma is an asset
