As part of our vital team, you'll be responsible for identifying strategic suppliers and managing relationships, guaranteeing the quality and continuity of our supplies. This position will allow you to help shape Soucy's future by leading innovative initiatives and playing a crucial role in our company's growth and success.
In this position, you will have the opportunity to :
- Collaborate and engage the team in the implementation of innovative strategies in supplier management
- Establish work standards and performance indicators for the team
- Foster the development and full potential of his/her team
- Implement best practices in procurement in the manufacturing industry
- Define and implement improvement projects to optimize operational efficiency (processes & technologies)
- Act as a specialist on more strategic files
- Manage complex files and critical projects related to the organization's objectives

Profile With the following skills and qualities, you'll be successful in this role:- Bachelor's degree in GOP or administration combined with 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (an asset)
- Strong negotiation skills
- Bilingualism
- Good work organization and priority management skills
- Experience in an MRP environment
- Ability to identify opportunities and develop new suppliers
- Knowledge of customs compliance (an asset)
- Strong skills with the use of an ERP (Syteline) (an asset)
- Knowledge of Lean Logistic (Kanban, supermarket, etc.) (an asset)
