What does a fun internship look like?
An internship where you’ll definitely develop new skills and help shape the future as part of our team. Our main mission is to improve the performance of the materials used in our rubber tracks. You’ll participate in innovative research into ingredient selection, tools, and characterization and testing methods to enhance our products while helping to reduce costs and environmental impacts.
During this internship, you will have the opportunity to:
- Assist the Quality Project Manager with their various tasks and responsibilities
- Perform quality activities leading to the acceptance of components in accordance with requirements and the PPAP process
- Validate, inspect, and approve parts during the incoming parts inspection process
- Write non-conformance reports, coordinate and follow up on corrective and preventive actions with suppliers, and validate the effectiveness of the actions implemented
- Participate in problem-solving related to customer complaints
- Coordinate and follow up on actions, including part replacement and inventory management with suppliers during engineering changes
- Participate in continuous improvement projects within the department
With the following skills and qualities, you’ll be a great fit:
- You’re currently pursuing a high school diploma in mechanical engineering or a technical diploma in mechanical engineering
- You have a good command of English, primarily for communicating via email
- You have strong skills in reading blueprints and understanding geometric tolerances
