At Soucy Techno, the Production Supervisor is responsible for managing and monitoring the manufacturing process. He's a skilled personnel manager who uses effective strategies to influence the way his team members are motivated, developed and encouraged. He or she also analyzes and monitors trends in performance indicators and implements action plans to ensure that objectives are met.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to :

  • Provide employees with a participative management style within a human-centered corporate culture.
  • Support your team in achieving OHS, quality and production performance objectives
  • Monitor performance indicators, inform your manager of any discrepancies and propose solutions
  • Distribute and assign tasks to employees, with the support of your team leader.
  • Follow up on the induction of new employees on your shift and monitor their development closely
  • Evaluate your employees' performance and take supportive or disciplinary action in the event of deviations in performance and/or behavior.
  • Validate employee pay hours on a weekly basis
  • Ensure proper communication of relevant information to supervisors on other shifts

  • College diploma (DEC) in management or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position (manufacturing environment, unionized)
  • Proficiency in modern continuous improvement methods, knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
  • Excellent command of computer tools
  • You are recognized for your motivational leadership and results-oriented approach
  • You are team-oriented and recognized for your ability to communicate well.
  • You thrive on challenges and like things to move quickly; you are agile.
