In this position, you will have the opportunity to:
- Supervise and coordinate all production activities at the plant, while ensuring a safe working environment
- Act as a coach and ensure the skills development of a team of 20 to 25 unionized employees
- Support the achievement of objectives and the completion of quality activities
- Ensure performance standards are met
- Implement improvement initiatives that can influence the daily results and efficiency of your employees

With the following skills and qualities, you will be successful in this role:
- Technical degree or high school diploma in mechanical or industrial engineering, manufacturing, or any other relevant experience
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment and personnel management (ideally in a unionized environment)
- Good knowledge of metalworking processes, particularly machining and/or painting
- Good understanding of management practices (Lean manufacturing, Kanban, Kaisen, TPS, 5S)
- Good leadership combined with good management and interpersonal skills
