Mission

As a process technician, you’ll have the opportunity to continually learn more about our manufacturing process, helping us meet our customers’ highest quality standards. Your main role? Developing formulations and ensuring the performance of rubber processing methods in both production and development-a stimulating challenge that matches your expertise! To help you succeed, you’ll collaborate with manufacturing engineering, operations, and product engineering.


In this position, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Monitor the performance of rubber processing operations
  • Develop and update manufacturing formulas
  • Be responsible for process optimization to help achieve established quality and productivity goals
  • Act as a key person in managing production failures by taking a systematic approach to identifying root causes
  • Participate in design reviews for new tracks, new equipment, and the tooling required for track manufacturing
  • Maintain adequate documentation of production interventions and process development

Profile

With the following skills and qualities, you will be successful in this role:

  • DEC in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Plastics Processing, or any other relevant education and experience
  • We welcome both entry-level candidates and those with several years of experience. The role can easily be adapted for both
  • Must be available for a 3x12-hour NIGHT shift schedule following daytime training Monday through Friday (approximately 10 months)
  • Good command of French (spoken and written)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (advanced in Word and Excel)
  • Strong data analysis skills and meticulous attention to detail in document management
  • Strong team spirit and collaborative attitude
  • Ability to manage priorities
  • Strong problem-solving skills
