Description
Within manufacturing operations, the Process Technician supports the execution of technical projects by analyzing work methods and structuring operational practices. He or she plays a central role in defining, measuring, and standardizing work methods to improve the efficiency and consistency of operations.
Reporting to the Project Coordinator - Industrial Engineering, they work closely with the production, maintenance, and engineering teams.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Conduct time studies and analyze work methods
- Establish, document, and maintain work instructions
- Define and ensure the updating of operational standards
- Contribute to process analysis and the identification of variances
- Support workplace layout and optimization projects
- Participate in the implementation of technical and organizational solutions
- Ensure that operational documentation is kept up to date
- Collaborate with teams to ensure consistent application of methods
- Participate in job and task analyses (ergonomics and safety)
- Support the Project Manager in monitoring field activities

With the following skills and qualities, you’ll thrive in this role:
- Associate’s degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related field
- 0 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with or interest in time studies and work methods
- Strong understanding of manufacturing environments
- Proficiency with computer tools (Excel, etc.)
