In this position, you will have the opportunity to:
- Implement, initiate, and promote structured quality and statistical tools (Six Sigma-Kaizen, etc.)
- Compile and analyze data from control points and performance indicators using a structured (statistical) approach to identify opportunities for improvement
- Be responsible for managing and documenting corrective actions in progress in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS “Interal”)
- Record deviations observed during internal and external audits in order to find solutions
- Evaluate and measure the corrective actions implemented over time to ensure their effectiveness
- Be responsible for communicating ongoing actions to the parties involved in the plant
- Apply and maintain a simple, integrated document management system for company files and knowledge base
- Conduct product process or performance tests
- Participate in improving production rejection performance indicators
- Analyze and update technical documents following changes, and inform operations
- Train and coach production team leaders during change management
- Write work procedures to complement existing ones
- Analyze problematic situations using tools or programs such as: Fishbone, Pareto, 8D, the 5 Whys method, or Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA), etc.
- Participate in the implementation of innovative continuous improvement solutions

ProfileWith the following skills and qualities, you will be successful in this role:
- College or university degree in industrial design or engineering (mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, etc.) or a related field, combined with 5 to 8 years of experience
- Must have at least two (2) years of experience in problem solving, corrective actions, and continuous improvement
- Good organizational skills, meticulous mind, and tenacity
- Good understanding and ability to work with structured quality and statistical tools using Lean and Kaizen methods
- Motivational leadership (ability to work well in a team and influence others)
- Functional bilingualism in both spoken and written French and English
- Proficiency in MS Office, MS SharePoint, Visio, and a data management system in the manufacturing sector
- Effective documentation using relevant reports
- Knowledge of advanced control tools such as the Capability Maturity Model (CMM)
