Mission

You have everything it takes to join our team! Your role will consist of preparing and installing tools on equipment for production. In this position, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Use equipment and tools efficiently while complying with specified quality standards
  • Install, remove, and adjust tools and safety equipment
  • Prepare workstations and position equipment appropriately for efficient work
  • Inspect equipment to be installed before use and notify the tooling department when tools need to be sharpened or repaired
  • Transport tools from the storage area to workstations and vice versa
  • Maintain and repair tools and certain equipment as needed
  • Adjust or regulate equipment or tools when requested by an operator or team leader
  • Complete various quality control and production forms
  • Keep your workplace clean
  • Any other related tasks

  • Permanent full-time position
  • Shift: day, evening, or night shifts in 5x8h OR 3x12h + 1 Saturday per month
  • Salary: $30.31/hour
  • Shift premium: $1.50 for evening shifts, $2.50 for night shifts, $1.25 for 12-hour shifts

Profile

With the following skills and qualities, you will be successful in this role:

  • Possess a vocational diploma in industrial mechanics or equivalent
  • Experience in mechanics and assembly mechanics
  • Proficiency in the mechanical and pneumatic aspects of manufacturing processes
  • Proficiency in the basics of hydraulics, electronics, and electrical systems
  • Proficiency in the use of measuring instruments (metrology), knowledge of programmable logic controllers (as a user), ability to read blueprints
  • Ability to read, write, and interpret information related to manufacturing processes
  • Experience operating a forklift
  • Enjoy working in a team
  • Strong interest in manual and physical work
  • Own a complete toolbox for mechanical work
