In this position, you'll have the opportunity to :

  • Plan, supervise and optimize accounting operations to ensure efficiency and compliance
  • Coordinate the preparation of monthly and annual internal financial statements to ensure accurate and reliable reporting
  • Prepare and supervise audit file for external auditors and tax file
  • Prepare and coordinate the budget process
  • Analysis of manufacturing operations
  • Bid review and approval
  • Prepare and coordinate financial forecasts
  • Manage and supervise finance team (excluding payroll and HR)
  • Ensure proper use of financial resources
  • Manage various aspects of financial communication

With the following skills and qualities, you'll be successful in this role:

  • Member of the Canadian Order of Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA)
  • 8-10 years' experience
  • Team management and communication skills
  • Ability to gather information and present it briefly and concisely
  • Respect for established procedures and tools
  • Knowledge of the manufacturing sector
