Description
Reporting to the General Manager, the Product Lines & Quotations Leader acts as the primary point of contact for all new activities related to the rubber and machining product lines, including quotations, mold project management, and customer service.
He/She coordinates and influences the different teams (engineering, production, planning, customer service, suppliers) to ensure efficiency, fluidity, and consistency of projects. Without direct hierarchical authority, he/she exercises strong leadership through influence, ensuring customer satisfaction, quality of deliverables, and compliance with deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Product Line Management

Act as the single point of contact for rubber and machining product lines.

Oversee all stages of new mold projects: order analysis, design, quotations, prototyping, and production launch.

Coordinate activities between internal teams and suppliers.

Prepare and review rubber and machining quotations (time analysis, material and labor costs, review of existing item pricing).

Maintain up-to-date data in ERP and CRM (part creation, product sheets, visual integration, quotation tracking).

Monitor budgets, deadlines, and deliverables related to projects.

Manage customer relationships: ensure clear, proactive, and transparent communication.

Keep clients informed of project progress and obtain necessary approvals.

Ensure customer satisfaction and implement corrective actions when needed.

Promote cross-departmental collaboration (design, production, customer service, planning).

Influence practices to improve efficiency and quality.

Actively participate in production meetings and integrated projects.

Act as an ambassador for the rubber and machining product lines.

Identify opportunities to improve processes (design, quotations, project management).

Track and analyze KPIs: timelines, prototype compliance, customer satisfaction, quotation accuracy.

Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or relevant technical training (or equivalent experience).

Experience in manufacturing project management (rubber, polymers, machining).

Knowledge of manufacturing environments and continuous improvement best practices.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM (HubSpot), ERP systems.

Bilingual French/English.

Compliance with project deadlines and budgets.

Accuracy and relevance of quotations (machining and rubber).

Customer satisfaction and quality of follow-up.

Percentage of prototypes validated on the first attempt.

Continuous process improvement and reduction of quality gaps.
