Mandate:
Under the responsibility of the Maintenance Director, the Maintenance Planner is responsible for:
- Developing the planning and monitoring of all tasks related to preventive equipment maintenance:
- Planning and coordinating daily work execution.
- Prioritizing the planning of preventive maintenance work.
- Estimating necessary resources.
- Managing the necessary parts/materials.
- Coordinating and planning major shutdown preparations.
- Preparing material or service requisitions.
- Working on improving equipment performance.
- Maintaining and analyzing the maintenance schedule based on various inputs (Production, vacations, Down Time, etc.).
- Holding meetings with Maintenance Supervisors to establish objectives.
- Coordinating events with operations.
- Planning meetings.
- Developing KPIs for the department.
- Ensuring safe working methods and compliance with health and safety standards.
- Adhering to Maintenance Procedures and ISO 14001.
- Participating in changes to work plans and instructions.
- Any other related tasks.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or college diploma in mechanics, industrial maintenance, or any other relevant field.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in maintenance planning.
- Relevant experience in supervising unionized industrial personnel (an asset).
- Excellent knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to implement and drive change.
- Rigorous and proactive.
- Intermediate level of Microsoft Office 365.
- 3 years of experience with Maximo software.
- Bilingualism in spoken and written French and English (adapted to the role).
