Description
Systems Architect
SKADRA is recruiting a systems architect to support the Canadian defence. This person will define robust and dynamic architectures based on the client’s needs, ensure the coherent integration of technical components and guide projects during detailed design and implementation.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop system architecture frameworks and strategies adapted to the client’s needs and the application area.
- Define the system architecture.
- Identify the requirements and policies that drive the architecture design choices.
- Analyze possible technology solutions and realize cost-benefit analyses.
- Assign the system requirements to its main subsystems and organize the architecture using clear and comprehensible layers.
- Integrate all technical components and develop interfaces with existing systems.
- Model the system architecture to guarantee its consistency with existing work and strategic orientations and adjust the architecture when needed.
- Select and document tools, languages and technology standards adapted to the project.
- Design and implement test protocols for the system and validate its functionalities according to specifications.
- Define the constraints and assumptions related to the physical structure of the system and data collection.
- Plan the architecture deployment phase to guarantee its stability.
