SENIOR ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT (SAS) - Learning Centre

Location: Barrie Learning Centre - location subject to change based on operational needs.
The Senior Administrative Support - Learning Centre is responsible for all of the main office functions by performing, prioritizing, coordinating tasks and duties to ensure the administrative team meet timelines. The Senior Administrative Support acts as a resource to both internal and external individuals.

$27.17 - $31.80 per hour
Qualifications
Required : Secondary School Diploma. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organization, prioritization and problem solving skills. Advanced skills in various software applications, e.g. MS Office. Excellent word processing skills. Ability to adapt to changing situations in the workplace. Ability to work independently and as a team member. Ability to meet tight deadlines. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Preferred : Two-year college diploma in Business Administration or related field. Knowledge of Simcoe County District School Board Policies, Administrative Procedures Memoranda and Numbered Memoranda. Knowledge of board approved software, e.g. ATE/ EasyConnect, SchoolCash.net, JD Edwards, and Power School student information system. Knowledge of basic office and accounting procedures. First Aid and CPR Certificate. Previous experience working in a school environment.

Testing may be required during the selection process.
Participation in the OMERS Pension Plan is mandatory for all full-time permanent employees, even if currently in receipt of an OMERS pension.
