Sr. QA Lead to create test plans/cases, and conduct testing for an MS Dynamics F&O implementation for our financial services client

Location: Downtown Toronto (hybrid)

Duration: 12 month (possibility of extension)

Job Description:

Reporting to the Director of Applications and IT Transformations, the Quality Assurance & Test Lead, D365 Finance, will be a part of an implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance.

The Quality Assurance & Test Managers will collaborate with leaders across the organization (eg. Product Management, Finance, Standards and Quality Assurance) in the planning, design and execution of testing strategies, while promoting efficient processes and methodologies, and will coordinate with the System Integrator responsible for the implementation.

Job Responsibilities:

• Create test plans, test cases and test scripts based on requirement documents and business User Stories
• Develop and maintain automated test suites using test automation tools
• Plan and execute test cases, maintain test matrix including status of defects.
• Validate all issues raised and track the progress to completion.
• Leverage DevOps to manage test cases, reporting and tracking defects, interacting with developers, business, and technical product owners.
• Review QA Analyst test plans to ensure proper test strategies and risk mitigation elements.

Must Have Skills:

• 5+ years creating test plans/cases
• 2+ years of experience as a QA Lead
• Experience testing for MS Dynamics F&O implementations

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with MS DevOps or Azure for testing
• QA Certification with ISTQB or QAI
