Sr. Management Consultant to assess and optimize current resource allocation and capacity management processes for our public sector client
Location: Richmond Hill (2 days per month in office)
Duration: 6 months (June 3, 2024 - Nov 29, 2024) - possibility of extension
Hours: 7 hours per day
Job Description:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of current resource allocation and capacity management processes.
- Analyze data and trends to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their resource needs and capacity requirements.
- Develop and implement resource allocation strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives.
- Utilize quantitative modeling and forecasting techniques to predict future resource demands and capacity constraints.
- Provide recommendations for resource investments and reallocations based on business priorities and performance metrics.
- Develop and maintain tools, templates, and frameworks to support effective resource allocation and capacity planning.
- Monitor and track key performance indicators related to resource utilization and capacity management.
- Provide guidance and training to stakeholders on best practices for resource allocation and capacity optimization.
- Updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in resource management and capacity planning.
Must have skills:
- Proven experience (10 years) in resource allocation, capacity planning, or operations management.
- Experience with resource management software tools and systems (e.g., ERP systems, project management software).
- Proficiency in quantitative analysis and statistical modeling techniques.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and identify insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels of the organization.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
