Description
Sr. C# (.NET) and Java (Spring) Developer to lead design, development, testing and provide production support for our Large Insurance client.
Location: Hybrid (1 day per week in either Toronto, London, Winnipeg)
Duration: 12 Months
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development and testing of software to specifications.
- Support production (includes 24x7 on call support).
- Provide consultation with the Systems Architects and Business Systems Analysts.
- Participate in project planning.
- Deliver code reviews and provide feedback relative to best practices.
- Provide knowledge and guidance of software design, design methodologies, and design documentation tools.
- Contribute and actively promote the development and implementation of new technologies.
- Automate DevOps processes through Bamboo or other scripted solutions.
Must Haves:
- 6+ Years with C# (.NET, VB) and Java (Spring)
- PL/SQL
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Pro*C
- Docker
- Windows Server
- Oracle DB
- Jira, Confluence, Service Now
- Agile
Nice to Have:
- Automation of DevOps processes through Bamboo or other scripted solutions
- Experience with Kafka producers and subscribers
- Insurance Industry Experience
- Team Lead Experience
- Understanding of technical environments and their infrastructure including servers, networks, and security
