Our Valued Public Sector Client is seeking a Senior Technical Architect to design, develop, configure and deploy a ServiceNow application platform.

Background:

ServiceNow will be implemented in both unclassified setting (as SaaS) and an on-prem instance on a classified intranet to protect sensitive APM/BCM data.

• Designing and configuring on-prem ServiceNow application platform - 5 years
• Application Portfolio Management - 5 years
• Business Continuity Management- 5 years
• GCDocs, SharePoint, D365, and DevOps environments - 5 years

Responsiblites:

• Develop technical architecture, frameworks, strategies and integrated enterprise applications solutions to meet business/service requirements.
• Design and guide necessary integrations between new and/or existing systems.
• Analyze the existing capabilities within various new or existing enterprise application solutions and recommend areas for improved capability and integration.
• Analyze and evaluate upgrades and new releases, and then make recommendations on the viability of proceeding with such upgrades.
• Perform impact analysis of proposed technology changes.
• Perform cost-benefit analysis of implementing new processes and solutions.
• Review technical infrastructure designs to ensure adherence to standards and to recommend performance improvements.
• Monitor industry trends to ensure that solutions fit with government and industry directions for technology.
• Creation, assistance, maintenance, and guidance to other team members in the production of documentation needed to move forward with the security accreditation and functional implementation of an on-prem instance of ServiceNow on a DND Secret classified network. Examples of these are the following:
• Business and Security concept of operations (ConOps)
• Data model documentation
• DND Architecture Framework (DNDAF) diagrams
• CRUD matrices documentation
• Technical and/or audit reports requested by the clients
• Account and data safeguard documentation
• System design specification documentation
• System implementation plans documentation
• Standard operating procedures
• Functional testing criteria and reports
• Advise Senior Management and provide recommendations on a range of issues affecting the organization's ability to achieve the departmental business objectives.
• Assist in the setup, implementation, configuration, and design of ServiceNow Secret on-prem and its associated BCM and APM modules.
• Recommend, design, guide and assist in the implementation of cross-domain data interchanges between “ServiceNow SaaS Unclassisfied” and “ServiceNow Secret on-prem” through available diode technology to enable one-way data updates from unclassified to secret.
• Perform other tasks related to this labour category as directed by the team lead and/or project manager.
