Description
Our Public sector client Current departmental data is fragmented geographically and across different technologies. As a result, there is no straightforward method to discover data beyond personal connections to the team responsible for that data. Furthermore, there is no standard process to access the data and data governance is inconsistent and limited.
The public sector client wants to Implement an Enterprise Data Hub (EDH) as a Minimal Viable Product (MVP). The EDH is based on a federated data architecture with an organizational approach designed to facilitate data discovery, sharing and analysis across the department.
Task include, but not limited to:
- Analyze and develop architecture requirements design, process development, process mapping and training
- Design and deliver presentations highlighting the findings including as-is and to-be states, gaps and transition plans for both the business and technical aspects, and to facilitate workshops, as necessary, with the intent of communicating the recommended approach to stakeholders
- Serve as a part-time strategic advisor, and provide guidance to the Project Authority and key stakeholders and data and analytics project teams, on an ad hoc and as required basis
- Responsible for leading other functional staff to define business strategy and processes in support of transformation and change management activities
- transfer, communication and user adoption pertaining to new and improved business processes, procedures, tools, etc. (i.e. Management of Change);
- Participate in change impact analysis, change management activities, organizational realignment
Must have:
- Secret Level Clearance (Level 2)
- 10 years as a Business Transformation Architect
Nice to Have:
- 5 projects advising management on business process re-engineering vs. system change.
- 5 projects advising diagnostics/assessment of value streams and business capabilities.
