Description
Our valued Public Sector client is in need of 3 Senior secret cleared Application Architects to review and develop technical architectures, frameworks and strategies, including major sub-systems, interfaces and integrations points for the GCdocs.
The Contractor’s resources must complete the following tasks under this contract, including but not limited to:
The Contractor’s resources must complete the following tasks under this contract, including but not limited to:
- Review and develop technical architectures, frameworks and strategies, including major sub-systems, interfaces and integrations points for the GCdocs.
- Monitor industry trends to ensure that all solutions adopted for GCdocs operations fit with government and industry directions for technology.
- Evaluate the data requirements for processing GCdocs data and identify enterprise approach to meet these requirements.
- Analyze and evaluate alternative technology solution to meet project requirements.
- Define and document any interfaces or integration points to automate operations for the GCdocs project, to external systems and between new and existing systems.
- Define input/output sources, including detailed plan for technical design phase, and obtain approval of the project technical option.
- Design and document in detail, using Object models and Interaction diagrams, all system components, their interfaces and operational environment.
- Assist the integration of all aspects of technology for GCdocs solutions deployment.
- Analyze functional requirements to identify information, procedures and decision flows.
- Define input/output sources, including detailed plan for technical design phase;
- Identify and document system specific standards relating to programming, documentation and testing, covering program libraries, data dictionaries, naming conventions, etc;
- Liaise regularly with IM/IT Program, OpenText and other external partners.
- Perform a high-level options analysis for senior management, relating to the development and implementation alternatives;
- Create and modify Restful web services required for interfaces between systems part of the GCdocs prototyping;
- Review, document and analyze existing systems’ business and functional requirements;
- Assess and perform architectural analysis, frameworks and strategies, including major sub-systems, interfaces and integrations points for the GCdocs;
- Translate business requirements into systems design and specifications;
- Document and communicate the features of the new or redesigned system processes through the use of activity and workflow diagrams and process narrative descriptions;
- Develop systems specification documentation that will encompass requirements, feasibility, cost, and design of applications;
- 12 years experience as an Application Architect
- 3 years experience supporting Public Safety initiatives
- 2 years experience working with a OpenText Content Server environment.
- 2 years experience architecting and upgrading systems for the purpose of using electronic document and records management software technology platforms
- 7 years experience years working on enterprise scale projects
- 7 years experience designing and developing, upgrading software solutions
- 5 years designing, developing and upgrading enterprise scale applications while monitoring industry trends to ensure that solutions fit with government and industry directions for technology.
- 2 years experience developing and documenting technical or security architecture for applications.
