Our enterprise public sector client is seeking an Senior Scrum Master to guide a specialist team on an innovative project harnessing AI and data analytics through the SAFe/Agile process - 91869-1

1 year contract, possibilities of extension. Vancouver based, 2 day/month in office

Must Have:

• 6+ years direct hands-on experience as Agile Coach/Scrum Master , inclusive of 4+ years of relevant experience with agile and DevOps environments, and 2+ years’ experience of delivery in the cloud within enterprise level, in highly complex and integrated environment
• Experience delivering projects leveraging AI, machine learning and data analytics
• Considerable experience identifying and removing technical and non-technical roadblocks towards team progress.
• Experience with projects leveraging Azure infrastructure technologies.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification such as CSPO, CSD, CSP, or PMI-ACP, SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), CDAP, CLP.
• Experience working with Azure DevOps or a similar tool to maintain tasks, manage backlogs, etc.
• Experience guiding, coaching and educating teams using agile methods, and providing constructive feedback on technical and non-technical performance.
• Experience with team budgeting and forecasting, resource costing, and reporting financial updates.
• Undergraduate degree in computer science or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math)

Responsibilities:

• The Senior Scrum Master delivers projects in varying complexity to meet the expected service levels of our customers. This position guides and coaches product owners and development teams through story development, iterations, retrospectives, product backlog management and decision making.
• Utilizes their specialist knowledge of agile and scrum or Kanban to help teams to deliver successfully and continuously improve business value delivery.
• This position guides the team through the SAFe process, helping to remove any impediments blocking progress
• The position is centered around a servant leadership style responsible for guiding, coaching, and educating product owners and development teams through agile and DevOps ways of working.
• This position creatively promotes an open, transparent, trusting, and respectful team culture, and applies working knowledge of agile to help teams deliver and continuously improve their performance, and delivery of business value.
• The Scrum Master will participate in our on-call support rotation to ensure the availability of our production applications.
