Senior SAP solution architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of core SAP S/4 HANA, SAC and Ariba solutions for a transportation client

Our client is seeking a Senior SAP solution architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of core SAP S/4 HANA, SAC and Ariba solutions for a transportation client.

Duration until March 31, 2025. Work mode Hybrid (a minimum of 3 days/week in person is required at the YUL Montreal office or Winnipeg office)

Projects / Assignment

Support the program to replace the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, which is at the end of life. The key objective of this project is to transform the Finance organization leveraging technology around a centralized financial core system across all entities.

The scope of the project is:

Transformation of processes and structures to align with best practices with a clear vision and TOM (targeted operating model) for Finance and Tax.

Centralization of Financial Core systems across all entities using SAP technologies including S/4 HANA Private Cloud Edition, SAC, Ariba, Fieldglass and Concur.

Functional Accountabilities

• Provide SAP architecture direction and best practices to a large program team while building overall SAP capabilities for the organization.
• Define end to end SAP solution architectures across the SAP ecosystem (S/4 HANA PCE, SAC, Ariba, Fieldglass, Concur).
• Provide expertise and best practices pertaining to SAP RICEFW objects
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to all internal and external teams involved in the implementation process.
• Provide architectural leadership to development teams and serve as the primary SAP architecture resource.
• Review and revise created solution architecture artifacts that describe and explain solution and associated benefits.
• Coach junior resources on SAP technologies.
• Liaise with various SAP teams to ensure that SAP owned activities are carried out as required and that SAP contracts are optimized to obtain best value.
