Senior Project Manager to participate in Payments Transformation projects 74538-1

Position Title: IT Project Manager - Senior

Line of Business: Capital market - personal banking and retail // wholesale banking

Duration: 6 Months

Remote/Hybrid: Hybrid // every Wednesday and Thursday and every third Friday of the month.

Office Location: Toronto-161 Bay St., 4th

Reason the role is open? (manage ASG-DCC Transformation projects) Enhance of current product. Someone who understands Azure as some pieces need to move to the cloud. Transforming existing applications to cloud to make them better.

 This role will oversee the Dynamic Currency Conversion system that relates to payments with Visa and mastercard. The system is used for international currency conversions through ATMs internationally. This role will be reviewing how to enhance the product. With the international usage of the system, the role may require the individual to speak other languages to discuss technical issues in laymen's terms.

Job Responsibilities:

• Define test plans and ensure that products are defect free before User Acceptance Testing.

• Develop, track and manage project budget, project plans, timelines and scope.

• Effectively oversee project staff (direct reports, matrixed reports, contractors, and interns), delegating work to appropriate leads.

• Efficiently communicate to stakeholders to manage expectations and project progress.

• Ensure appropriate systems development and project management processes are being utilized.

• Ensure that necessary risk assessments are continually reviewed and monitored and proactively addressed in a timely fashion.

• Facilitate the User Acceptance Testing process, developing rollout plans and procedures.

• Lead teams of developers in the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet business needs.

• Make presentations to steering committees or project sponsors.

• Manage medium to large scale projects working collaboratively with business stakeholders, vendors, and technical resources.

• Manage project resources including procuring project staff, developing, motivating, coaching and advising.

• Partner closely with other members of functional project teams to define business requirements.

• Prepare and present cost-benefit analyses.

• Successfully plan, execute, control and close projects against defined scope and budget using the banks procedures and policies.

Must Have Requirement:

- experience to be part of Payment Product design/build/testing/release experience

- good understanding of ISO 8583 Payment Spec and VISA/MC

- experience in transformational projects that include application and infrastructure

- 10 Years experience

- MS Project, Visio, Powerpoint and excel // MS office suite

- Project Financial tracking

- waterfall and agile methodology

- understanding of Azure and cloud

Nice to Have:

-Prefer language skills in French, Italian or Spanish

-PMP

-POS experience
