Senior Project Control Officer (PCO) for major financial services Agile refresh program

Job Overview:

Our client is seeking a Senior Project Control Officer (PCO) for major financial services Agile refresh program. The role will provide support to the Program Management Office (PMO) in compliance and alignment to the banks processes and methodologies. This primarily includes reporting and portfolio analysis, change and performance improvements, financial management including tracking, monitoring and processing of invoices, reporting on project and portfolio health by providing financial insights, document and communication management duties at the program or project level, and providing support to teams adding and removing system access for employees. This role is accountable to provide support to the Project Management team and is expected to be familiar with Project Management Frameworks.

Must Have Skills:

• Well versed in Agile/iWF and implementing governance, risk management frameworks
• Written or created processes used to train others
• Developed dashboards - portfolio/program - experience creating new processes/ charts (gantt)/ templates on confluence or JIRA
• Provide delivery leads analysis of portfolio financial health and issues
• Strong understanding of SDLC and working with a portfolio environment
• Has experienced working or supporting the PMs (or as Jr/ Entry PM) on project documentations and able to support/ understand the importance of project governance.
• Enterprise Financial Services experience preferred

Nice to Have Skills:

• PMO level experience or currently working as PMO or working with the EPMO
• Some Agile or Scrum certification is a plus.
