Senior Payments Business Analyst

Location Address: 40 Temperance St., 8th floor - hybrid - once a week onsite but the manager is flexible

Contract Duration: ASAP - 10/31/2024

The candidate is responsible for some initiatives such as the E2E discovery of the system life cycle of various payment products and contingency protocols; i.e.: EFT, Wires, ACH, FedWire, International Money Transfer, for STP and non-STP scenarios.

The successful candidate will design and facilitate a simulation exercise for each of the flows.

Business group: Client Services and Solutions

Responsibilities:

-Working sessions with business, technology, and operations SMEs to understand and document system/process flows

-Manage the deliverables to meet target timelines

-Manage agile delivery board for tracking deliverables

-Assemble PowerPoint slides for executive and peer presentation

-Design stimulation exercises for resiliency activities

-Identify process assistance gaps and collaborate with SMEs for enhancement options

-Collaborate with developers, architects, operation managers, and business product owners/managers to come up with solutions

Must Have Skills:

1. 8+ years of experience as a BA within FI

2. 3+ years of experience within Capital Markets (strong knowledge of payment product Wires, ACH, EFT or International Money Transfer)

3. Strong operational knowledge on payment processing protocol

4. Strong Proficiency with MS Visio and PPT

5. Experience working with Jira/Confluence

Nice-To-Have Skills:

-BA experience at top 5 Banks in Canada

-Experience in development or infrastructure operation areas

Education:

Post Secondary Education

The ideal candidate would be a strong BA within Capital Markets and would have some experience in development.
