Job Description:

• Manage Oracle databases through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systems.

• Configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability and security.

• Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.

• Ensures strategic design, implementation, and documentation of current and future projects within Database environments.

• Maintain technical/process documentation as required.

• Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours.

• Ability to complete tasks and produce appropriate deliverables within project time schedules.

• Identify and participate in automation opportunities.

• Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems; enforce and support the change management process.

Must Have Skills:

- 3-10 years' experience working as an Oracle Database Administrator (DBA)

- 5 years of performance tuning (DB system and SQL tuning)

- 5 years' experience installing and, configuring, administering Oracle products and patches, including Oracle Standalone and RAC Databases 11g/12c/18c/19c, ASM, Oracle Clusterware, DataGuard, Active DataGuard and GoldenGate

Nice To Have Skills:

- 5 years' experience with Postgres

- 3 years' experience with financial applications

- Oracle Certified/ Performance Tuning Certification

- Transparent Data Encryption experience

- Oracle t-vault experience
