Our client is looking for Senior ESRI ArcGIS Architect to bridge the gap between IT, Business Operations and third party vendors for the implementation of GIS solutions

This role requires you to be onsite 3 days/week onsite in Calgary or Edmonton

Must Haves:

• 10+ years of Technical experience in ESRI ArcGIS Geospatial Software
• Strong understanding of overall IT architecture
• Working experience with ArcGIS Utility Network Data Model
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Experience in IT support and implementation of enterprise applications

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Hexagon G/Technology

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and facilitate third-party vendors, service implementers, and service providers to ensure alignment with industry best practices
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Ensure solutions, and their architectures, are aligned with industry best practices.
• Influence and execute the Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC) strategy.
• Research, evaluate, and recommend new technologies, processes, and tools to enhance business and technical capabilities.
• Define project technical requirements, build business cases, and participate in the selection of service implementers
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to ensure code quality meets minimum requirements.
• Lead and guide interrelated application implementation and operational activities.
• Escalate project risks and vendor concerns to IT and Business leadership.
