Description
Our valued Public Sector client requires Senior DevSecOps Engineer to ensure the security, availability, and stability of the cloud infrastructure. This resource will build infrastructure as code and improve the monitoring and stability of a DevOps environment
As part of this role, the selected candidate will be expected to mentor, coach and delagate tasks to the students on the team.
Tasks:
- Play a key role in the ongoing evolution of security practices and processes for the SRE team.
- Help them assess their DevSecOps maturity, define their roadmap, prioritize their work. Teams have various technical environment
- Promote industry best practices to “shift left” toward DevSecOps
- Assist with Engineering efforts throughout our organization on a variety of technologies
- Design, implement, and maintain a platform of internal tools aimed at speeding up software development teams while balancing for security, control and governance
- Automate, configure, and manage infrastructure at scale using automation
- Design, implement, and maintain platform and infrastructure security controls in an operational state to meet the industry and compliance requirements
- Design, implement and mature current secure CI/CD pipeline practices
- Be an active stakeholder in the infrastructure change management process to review and approve infrastructure-as-code deployments
Must-haves:
- 2 years of DevSecOps experience
- Cloud security experience for the Government of Canada
