Description
Our Public Enterprise Client is looking for a Senior Batch Job & Workload Automation Developer to automate processes using an enterprise batch scheduling tool (Redwood Cronacle).
Contract, 1 year to start with 2 terms of extensions (1 year each), Onsite, Victoria, BC.
Must Have:
- Job automation experience using an Enterprise level Job Scheduler, such as Redwood Cronacle or Fortra JAMS
- Programming with Object Oriented languages such as C#, Java, or C ++
- Programming in scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell, TypeScript, Bash, Groovy).
- Experienced in scripting File commands to create, parse, serialize, transfer (using SFTP) and delete flat files.
- Oracle Database programming (SQL and PL/SQL)
Nice to have:
- Working with DevOps tools such as GitHub and SVN
- Working with SOAP Services and XML
- Agile (Scrum) Software Development Process methodologies.
