Line of Business: Financial Crimes and Enterprise Risk Technology


Duration: 6 Months

Remote/Hybrid: Hybrid - What is the weekly core onsite day, and the secondary day if applicable? Tuesdays core and every 2nd Friday

Office Location: 81 Bay 15th Floor


Job Descriptions:

The main function of a Systems Engineer is to perform a wide variety of installation, configuration and upgrading of servers and related hardware and software in a LAN, WAN and stand-alone environment, providing investigation, diagnostic testing and repair/resolution of system, hardware, software and infrastructure.

5+ years of hands-on experience and knowledge in information security solutions and technologies as well as a pulse on innovative technology; Technical experience with: Linux/Unix commands, shell, Python scripting, API integrations, implementation and configuration of security tools such as log management and SIEM platforms. You have strong knowledge of: security space, application delivery life cycle (agile, waterfall, Scrum, code/application promotion), JIRA, code version control systems. You are an expert troubleshooter and problem solver and have experience in production systems support and incident resolution

Must have Requirement:

• Programming/scripting in python bash, perl, unix shell.

• Strong Linux user & System admin knowledge

• Experience in Cybersecurity tools support and deployment

• Solid understanding of networking and security concepts, TCP, SSL,TLS, SSH, authentication, CURL

• Understanding of Cloud Computing

• Experience with Azure deployments, registrations, authentication, integrations a +.

• Experience with Git a +.

• Experience with Ansible a +

• agile, waterfall, Scrum, code/application promotion

Responsibilities:

• Complete configuration, installation and support of equipment to the specifications of the business

• Maintain software applications and operating systems through regular maintenance

• Maintain configuration and support documentation

• Manage assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives

• Supervise the administration of systems and servers to ensure availability of services to authorized users

• Maintain multi-site network operations, software applications, operating systems through regular maintenance

• Troubleshoot malfunctions of hardware, software applications and security systems to resolve operational issues and restore services


Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required

• 5-7 years experience required

• Broad knowledge of IT Systems engineering

• Experience with system capacity and planning, as well as functional configuration and audit

• Experience with system planning and capacity tools and analyses
