Our Calgary client is looking for an Intermediate Systems Administrator with Windows environment experience to diagnose and resolve complex issues.

6 month contract to start. Must be able to work on site 5 days / week.

Must Haves:

• 4+ years Systems Administration experience (hardening, patching, configuration)
• 6+ years Help Desk experience (T1 and T2)
• Endpoint Management and Security experience (Intune, Automate/Screen Connect, Mosyle)
• PowerShell scripting experience
• Azure / Active Directory and Group Policy management
• Ticketing Systems experience (Team Support, Jira)

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced system troubleshooting.
• Make system hardening recommendations and guidelines for corporate devices.
• Manage all aspects of enterprise applications, application registrations, and proxy settings
• Manage the device configurations, user policies such as: authentication methods, Data Retention Policies, tenant-wide MFA settings/ password protection.
• Escalating critical, high-impact issues to T3.
• Consistently communicating and collaborating with internal teams on issues such as Major incidents, Root Cause Analysis, identify Stale/Non-Compliant devices, Vulnerability Management, Remediations etc.
• Perform audits and research solutions to corporate issues and challenges and ensure the robustness of your infrastructure
• Provide guidance and mentorship to T1 agents.
