Description
We are seeking an Intermediate/Senior Ruby on Rails Developer with UI experience using JavaScript (Angular) to develop Medical Billing Software for our Tier 1 Banking Client.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain Ruby on Rails applications
- Collaborate with the product team to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Write clean, maintainable and efficient code
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other developers
- Optimize and improve the performance of existing applications
- Identify and fix bugs and issues in a timely manner
- Ensure the security and integrity of the applications
- Maintain documentation of the code and application architecture
Must Have Skills:
- 5+ years of professional experience in Ruby on Rails development
- Proficient in Frontend Development (ideally Angular Skills)
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns
- Experience with database design and optimization
- Experience with version control systems like Git
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
Work Style: Remote/Canada
