Our public sector client is seeking a Intermediate Quality Assurance Analyst for Automation (Selenium) and API Testing (Postman) of a web-based payment application in an Azure environment

Candidates must be based in Calgary. Hybrid work model of 2 days on site and 3 days remote. 37.5 hour work week.

Must haves:

• 3+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst performing API (Postman) and Automation (Selenium) testing
• 3+ years of experience with application load testing and vulnerability testing
• 3+ years of experience with tools including JIRA, Zephyr, Azure DevOps

Nice to haves:

• Previous work experience in the public sector or large organizations
• Knowledge of cloud-based services (e.g. AWS, Azure) and understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to communicate both internally and externally with personnel at all levels

Responsibilities:

- Undertake requirement analyses with good understanding of acceptance criteria

- Develop and document test plans, strategy and test scripts

- Work closely with the Development team to execute tests on multiple environments, including QA, UAT and Production environments

- Conduct automation and API testing using available tools, and execute manual test cases with ability to analyze the test results

- Troubleshoot issues, ensure detailed and clear logging of defects, documentation of test cases and test findings

- Document and analyze test results, test strategy and test planning.

- Work closely with Product and Development teams to review solutions recommended by Developers or others for complex application change requests, ensuring they meet security standards and approved requirements.
